Ashley Hughes-Jefferson Consulting LLC is accepting applications from qualified professionals interested in providing remote customer service and related client-support services through available client-service programs.

Current opportunities may include inbound customer service, fraud detection/customer support, customer service and sales, medical appointment scheduling, and bilingual customer-support programs.

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity and not traditional W-2 employment.

Service Revenue

Production service revenue varies by program.

Current available programs generally provide approximately $13.50–$17.00 per production service hour before applicable deductions, with some programs offering additional performance incentives or opportunities to progress to higher service-revenue rates.

For example, one current bilingual customer service and sales opportunity begins at $16.00 per production service hour, with potential skill progression up to $18.00 per service hour.

Another current bilingual medical appointment scheduling and sales opportunity provides $17.00 per production service hour, with a potential additional $2.50 per service hour performance incentive when specified servicing and performance requirements are met.

Service revenue is generally calculated using serviced 30-minute intervals. Available intervals, hours, incentives, and service revenue are not guaranteed.

• Meeting the servicing requirements of an accepted program

Previous experience in customer service, sales, financial services, fraud support, healthcare-related services, appointment scheduling, or similar environments may be preferred or required depending on the opportunity.

Bilingual opportunities may require demonstrated proficiency in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese.

Technology Readiness

Technology requirements vary by program. Applicants should generally expect to have access to:

• A qualifying Windows 11 computer
• Reliable hardwired high-speed internet
• A qualifying USB headset with noise-cancelling microphone
• A professional and secure home workspace

Some programs may require dual monitors, a webcam, mobile-device authentication, minimum computer specifications, security devices, or other technology.

Applicants selected for a specific program will receive its applicable technology requirements before deciding whether to proceed.

Certification

Most available programs require successful completion of program-specific certification before entering production.

Certification may include instructor-led sessions, self-study, assessments, role plays, technology checks, mock calls, certification call-taking, and other program-specific activities.

Certification schedules and service-revenue arrangements vary by program.

Several currently available programs provide certification service revenue of approximately $7.64 per service hour / $3.82 per 30-minute interval, with potential additional certification incentives when specified requirements are met.

Applicants should review the complete certification schedule and requirements before accepting a specific program.

Applicants selected to continue may be invited to complete the Ashley Hughes-Jefferson Consulting LLC Independent Contractor Service Partner Pre-Screen.

The pre-screen evaluates areas including experience, schedule availability, technology readiness, certification readiness, language skills, independent-contractor readiness, and applicable program requirements.

Ashley Hughes-Jefferson Consulting LLC does not charge applicants a fee to submit an Indeed application or complete the initial company pre-screen.

4. Opportunity Matching

Qualified applicants may be matched with a currently available program based on their qualifications and the program’s requirements and availability.

Passing the general pre-screen does not guarantee a particular program.

5. Program-Specific Review

Applicants matched with an available opportunity will receive the applicable program-specific information and governing requirements before deciding whether to proceed.

• Certification schedule
• Servicing requirements

6. Certification & Production

Applicants who accept a program must successfully complete all applicable onboarding, screening, certification, contractual, technology, and program requirements before becoming eligible to provide production services.

Successfully completing these steps does not guarantee a minimum number of servicing intervals or any particular amount of service revenue.
